Race prep FAQ

Quick answers for athletes comparing HYROX race prep lengths. More on the blog.

What is HYROX race prep?

HYROX race prep is the final focused block before your event: race-specific running and stations, simulations, taper, and station priorities. Built. delivers 6–10 week options in the HYROX training app (launching soon on iOS).

How do I pick 6 vs 8 vs 10 weeks?

If you already ran a solid base program and your race is close, a shorter block can sharpen you. If you need more time to build specificity or work weak stations, choose a longer runway. Email info@builtfitness.nl with your race date—we will suggest a length.

Does race prep include tapering?

Yes. Each length is built to peak for race day, including a sensible taper so you arrive fresh—not flat. Full structure ships with the app; use the waitlist to hear at launch.
